productions

01

5 creations in the public space

[Production management: the local partners / Production: the local partners and the artists]

It must be possible to exhibit or perform these works of art in a public space, they must be linked to the working theme of the residency, and be consistent with the statement of intent produced at the end of the residency. These art works will require a production time to be defined upstream. They can be ephemeral or permanent.

02

5 Statements of Intent

[Production management: local partners / Production: the residents]

The statement of intent will be produced at the end of each residency and co-signed by the 3 residents. They will include:
— the thoughts shared by the 3 residents during the week
— the artist’s intentions
— an information plaque (visual art) / a presentation sheet (live performance work) with title, date, place, “who did what”
— an outline of the work

03

5 LOGBOOKS

[Production management: local partners / Production: the residents]

The residents will write up their logbooks directly onto the project website every evening. They will record the day’s events (appointments, encounters…) and the thoughts of the residents.

04

WEBSITE

[Production management: L’âge de la tortue / Production: L’âge de la tortue – local partners – EUR CAPS / Development : Centre for audiovisual studies and resources – CREA]

The website will comprise two sections:
— one section with information/news/blog
— one section with a virtual exhibition (the idea is to make ephemeral and permanent art works accessible through a website). Photos and videos of the productions and the creation process will also be included here.

05

Educational guides

[Production management: L’âge de la tortue]

In the earliest months of the European project, a series of educational guides will be produced to summarise the methodologies associated with the residences as well as the production times for the art works and their publication. These guides are primarily aimed at local partners.

Consult the guides.

5 Retrospective Publications

[Production management: L’âge de la tortue / Production: L’âge de la tortue – local partners – EUR CAPS]

At the end of each residency, an edited publication is produced, bringing together texts and images produced during the residency by the 3 Residents and the local coordination team. The graphic design of these publications is provided by L’âge de la tortue.
